Our spring break camp is geared towards the beginner to intermediate rider.  We emphasize the correct, basic principles of handling a horse.  Campers gain first hand horsemanship knowledge which includes learning horse terminology, horse behaviors, horse care, safety around horses, tacking up the horse, stall management, and much more.

Our campers become confident in their ability to ride well with proper training and increased saddle time.  Our obstacle course allows riders to practice the techniques required to go out on the trail.  We simulate walking over logs, crossing creeks, walking over bridges, bending around trees, walking through narrow passages, one rein stop, side passing, and trail etiquette.

The campers will also play fun games including archery, human barrel racing, giant checkers, corn hole toss, bowling and much more.  They will create arts/crafts and spend time under our party tent.  Most of their time will be outside.
